Arizona Chess Central holds monthly tournaments for players of all ages (Kindergarten through Adult) and offers free game review at each and every tournament. Game review is performed by our top level coaching staff and is available to all players, young and old - beginner to expert.

Arizona Chess Central offers chess lessons and chess education classes for kids of all ages. Our "Friday Knight Frenzy", with Blitz and Bughouse, draws both adult and scholastic chess enthusiasts and is an excellent opportunity to sharpen your chess skills.

Adult participation is welcomed and encouraged. We have sections available at every tournament to provide an opportunity for adult play as well as to strengthen the playing abilities of some of the stronger scholastic players.

The Chess Emporium is the premier provider of scholastic chess classes and tournaments in the Phoenix area.

Over the past 20 years, in excess of 70,000 students have been trained by their passionate and dedicated coaches.

Each week Chess Emporium teaches over 3000 students in more than 300 schools.
Their four large commercial chess centers in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe provide all aspiring students access to our products and services (regardless of the school which they attend).

The Chess Emporium is pleased to offer four locations for your chess needs. We have a chess center located in Scottsdale at 70th St and Shea Blvd, one located in Tempe at Elliot Rd and McClintock Dr, and one located in Phoenix at Carefree and 27th Dr.

The Reno Chess Club meets Thursday nights. We are located at 125 West Plumb Lane Reno, NV (Mathewson Bridge Center). Each Thursday night involves one USCF-sanctioned, rated tournament game. Pairings are set by 6:30pm. The time control varies with each tournament; in the worst case, a game may go as late as midnight. Basically, the activities are competition with any didactic occurring in the post-game analysis. There are no formal classes, but some members are generous with offhand instruction while others give paid private lessons.

The Chess Club at University of Houston is dedicated to growing the Chess community on campus. We aim is to accomplish this through our numerous events and comfortable space for people to simply play chess.
