Arizona Chess Central holds monthly tournaments for players of all ages (Kindergarten through Adult) and offers free game review at each and every tournament. Game review is performed by our top level coaching staff and is available to all players, young and old - beginner to expert.

Arizona Chess Central offers chess lessons and chess education classes for kids of all ages. Our "Friday Knight Frenzy", with Blitz and Bughouse, draws both adult and scholastic chess enthusiasts and is an excellent opportunity to sharpen your chess skills.

Adult participation is welcomed and encouraged. We have sections available at every tournament to provide an opportunity for adult play as well as to strengthen the playing abilities of some of the stronger scholastic players.

The Chess Emporium is the premier provider of scholastic chess classes and tournaments in the Phoenix area.

Over the past 20 years, in excess of 70,000 students have been trained by their passionate and dedicated coaches.

Each week Chess Emporium teaches over 3000 students in more than 300 schools.
Their four large commercial chess centers in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe provide all aspiring students access to our products and services (regardless of the school which they attend).

The Chess Emporium is pleased to offer four locations for your chess needs. We have a chess center located in Scottsdale at 70th St and Shea Blvd, one located in Tempe at Elliot Rd and McClintock Dr, and one located in Phoenix at Carefree and 27th Dr.

The mission of CHESSpirit is to promote chess in our community for everyone, especially the disadvantaged young kids, the underrepresented girl players, and the elderly. We believe chess helps foster logical and critical thinking and creativity for kids and improve the mental health of senior citizens.

Through chess, we bring love and care to our community, and nurture the spirit of fortitude, resilience and perseverance in our younger generation.

Coy's Camps and Classes offers camps and classes for school-age kids. Planned topics include, but are not limited to, chess, entrepreneurship, art, and many more. We offer enrichment classes a la carte as well as a full academic program called Prodigypreneurs!

Magnus Chess offers in-person chess clubs, online chess, coaching, camps and tournaments.

Northern Arizona Chess Center (NACC) is a 501(C) non-profit organization based in Flagstaff, AZ with geographic reach to Northern Arizona and is open to all. Northern Arizona Chess Center hosts chess USCF tournaments year round in Flagstaff, AZ. The tournaments are rotated around different schools with 3 divisions.

Phoenix Chess Academy teaches Chess all over the Phoenix Valley in a fun and educational environment. We teach Private Elementary Schools, Homeschooling Programs, Advanced Group Lessons, Private Lessons, and Online Lessons. We work with all ages and all levels, adjusting to each student’s needs.

Phoenix Chess Academy offers a convenient and cost-effective way to get personalized training for students who are serious about improving their Chess. The Academies focus on tactical training, clock training, middlegame strategies, endgames, and developing an opening repertoire.1 hour of work out and 1 hour of playing time (Game/15, Game 30, or Blitz tournament).

Unity Chess was founded in the summer of 2008 by Pedram Atoufi, a World Chess Federation FIDE Master. Our goal is to cultivate extraordinary players capable of excelling on both the national and international stages. The Berkeley Chess School’s chess programs are designed for beginning, intermediate and advanced students of all ages. They provide a rigorous training in chess while making the process fun, with skilled and engaging instructors and an eye toward personal growth. The Berkeley Chess School offers chess instruction to K-12 students in over 150 schools throughout the Bay Area. We offer after school classes as well as chess in the classroom during the school day.

ChessPalace is your one-stop shop for all your chess needs. We host chess tournaments, provide chess lessons, and sell chess sets, books, and accessories. Operating for over 30 years, the chess club has organized over 3000 rated games for the Southern California community.

The Clovis Chess Club invites players of all skill levels to join us, free of charge. We gather every Thursday from 5PM to 9:30PM at the Carl's Jr. on Shaw/Willow in Clovis, CA. It's a wonderful opportunity to hone your skills, enjoy competitive games, and connect with fellow players. We provide all the boards, so all you need to bring is your love for the game. Shoreview Chess provides service by Group Classes, Tournaments, Private Lessons, Chess Camps, and Workshop. The chess programs are designed for Beginner, Intermediate and Advance students.

Sosnick Chess is an organization that was founded in memory of Stephen Sosnick, a passionate chess player and professor at UC Davis. We host an annual weekend tournament that offers a variety of events, including lectures by a Grandmaster, simultaneous play, and multiple tournament options.

The West Valley Chess Club meets 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Thursdays in Shomrei Torah Synagogue in Hirsch Hall, 7353 Valley Circle Blvd. Continuous rated tournaments, blitz, casual play, handicap accessible. One of the largest local clubs.

The Summit School of Chess offers premiere chess coaching and online chess instruction for all ages.

Their goal is to teach children in grades K-12 abstract concepts of planning, analysis and strategy through the game of chess.

The United States Chess Federation is the governing body for chess competition in the United States and represents the U.S. in FIDE, the World Chess Federation.

Chess events, news, and community for the Greater Albuquerque/Rio Rancho area

Cruces Chess Club is a Las Cruces based organization dedicated to serving our Las Cruces chess community through financial support and community outreach.
Our mission is to bring the community together to have fun and enjoy chess. We aim to support the community by providing chess boards and timers as well as enabling members to travel and compete.

The Reno Chess Club meets Thursday nights. We are located at 125 West Plumb Lane Reno, NV (Mathewson Bridge Center). Each Thursday night involves one USCF-sanctioned, rated tournament game. Pairings are set by 6:30pm. The time control varies with each tournament; in the worst case, a game may go as late as midnight. Basically, the activities are competition with any didactic occurring in the post-game analysis. There are no formal classes, but some members are generous with offhand instruction while others give paid private lessons.

We're a chess club for all ages & most skill levels. We love chess, and we want to share it with you.

Providing places for youth and adults to play and learn about chess. We have multiple meet-ups for chess around Arlington. Some are focused on adult players; some are focused on children; and some are focused on both.

The Austin Chess Club meets on Saturday afternoons, 3:00pm-9:00pm. Attendance is open to anyone wishing to meet others and play casual chess games in person. We have separate skittles (casual chess) and tournament play rooms, so we run a rated tournament at the same time as hosting casual play.

Participation in our United States Chess Federation (USCF) rated tournaments requires USCF membership and an entry fee.

Blakeman Chess was created in an effort to bring higher quality chess tournaments to local areas. Our focus is to make chess overall more enjoyable by creating a greater atmosphere.

Our goal is to help San Antonio be a chess capital and give students an opportunity to grow and play this important game.

The Chess Club at University of Houston is dedicated to growing the Chess community on campus. We aim is to accomplish this through our numerous events and comfortable space for people to simply play chess.

We meet multiple times per week, in order to allow as many people to come. Moreover, we host special events every few weeks, where we offer free snacks. And in our journey, we have also come to collaborate with other universities every semester. We offer a wide variety of activities and opportunities, and we would be happy to have you participate.
